Meet the Candidates Election Forum – 8 June 2016
Our next meeting will be an EVENING event on Wednesday, 8th June at The Sands Hotel, South Maroubra.
We are partnering with the Southern Courier newspaper to present “Meet the Candidates for Kingsford Smith”. Three of the candidates for our federal seat of Kingsford Smith at the coming July 2nd election will each give a presentation of their party’s policies, particularly as they relate to the local area. Their talks will be followed by a Q&A session.
The candidates are:
Professor Michael Feneley AM – Liberal Party
Mr James Macdonald – The Greens
Hon Matt Thistlethwaite MP (sitting member) – Labor Party
This is a great opportunity to meet the candidates in a relaxed local setting so please come along . They will each give a short address and then take questions from the floor. Supper and refreshments will be provided
